Poetry of Faith
Rainbows ___________ |
I used to dream of rainbows And
nights lit by the moon Day that smelled of honey suckle and
lilac And never ended too soon I used to dream Of these
things and more Of a world that was divine But once I stepped
into the streets of an unsaved world I left my dreams
behind On the streets My dreams seemed to fade away My
rainbow had no color And clouds replaced the sun That used to
light each day I was sad…Even depressed I had no hope And
the best I could do Was simply try to survive Then one day
someone said My friend, you've got to dream And believe with
all your soul You build your own rainbows And each day is an
opportunity to start Don't let the chaos of an unsaved
world Drive a stake in your heart You are the key to our
salvation We each are a part of the same spirit The same
energy flows through all our veins Don't give our Adversary the
reins Don't give Evil an opportunity to grow Remember your
dream of rainbows And nights lit by the moon Days that smelled
of honey suckle and lilac And never ended too soon Remember
what it's like to have
faith
